New Featurette Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of ‘Skeleton Crew’
The next chapter in the Star Wars story will unfold on December 3 when Skeleton Crew premieres on Disney+.
Inspired by the Amblin coming-of-age films of the 1980s, such as Goonies and Gremlins, the series will tell the story of a group of kids who find themselves adrift in the galaxy.
“Skeleton Crew is the story of four kids who get lost in the Star Wars galaxy and have to find their way home,” creator Jon Watts explained.

Ahead of Skeleton Crew’s debut next month, Disney has released a featurette that takes fans behind the scenes. In the clip, Jude Law talks about playing the mysterious Jedi Jod Na Nawood.
“We just talked loosely about the idea of who this character was, and they pretty much had me there and then,” Law laughed.
In addition to showing scenes from the upcoming series, the clip also showcased the directors who will help bring Skeleton Crew to life. These include The Daniels, Jake Schrier, David Lowery, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Issac Chung.
“I’ve worked with aliens on this and creatures with three heads and six eyes and children, and it’s been a blast,” Law jovially explained.
