Tokyo Disneyland’s Star Tours: The Adventures Continue Is Getting a New Destination in 2025
Just in time for Star Wars Celebration 2025, Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that new adventures are coming to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.
While details on the update are scarce, Disney has promised that the updated scenes will feature new characters and even a new planet destination.
Noteably, the new Star Tours update will not be a permanent fixture in the attraction, instead, Disney is characterizing it as a “special version” of the Star Tours that will be presented for a limited time from April 8, 2025 through June 30, 2025.
Tokyo Did Not Get the Last Star Tours Update
Unlike the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris versions of Star Tours, Tokyo Disneyland’s attraction did not receive the recent April 2024 update that introduced scenes based on Ahoska, Andor, and The Mandalorian.

Based on today’s announcement, it is unclear if the new scenes coming to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue will be unique to Tokyo Disney Resort or simply the Disney Plus-inspired scenes we previously saw added to other versions of the attraction.
The Update Will Debut Just Before Star Wars Celebration 2025
What is clear, however, is that Disney is timing the attraction update to coincide with Star Wars Celebration 2025, which will take place from April 10 through April 18, 2025.

Perhaps then, the new scene will tie into an announcement coming out of the Star Wars convention.
