New ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ Exhibit Debuts at Carthay Circle
With Thanksgiving just a week away, the holiday season is officially in full swing at Disneyland Resort.
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we love the holidays. To that end, we have been bringing you updates on all the festive fun taking place across Disneyland.
Previously, we covered the new Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel! show, Mickey and Minnie’s Holiday Pajama Party costumes, and a slew of new merchandise.
Now, however, I want to turn your attention to Disney California Adventure, where the Walt Disney Archives have joined the holiday fun!
A New ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ Exhibit
From now through early January, guests visiting the Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge at Disney California Adventure can peruse a new The Muppet Christmas Carol exhibit curated by the Walt Disney Archives.
The display celebrates 70 years of The Muppets and features Bob Cratchit’s scarf worn by Kermit, Emily Cratchit’s wig worn by Miss Piggy, Rizzo’s narrator costume, and more.
They even have Tiny Tim’s crutch!
Over the 32 years, The Muppet Christmas Carol has become a holiday tradition for millions of fans. Now, you can get a glimpse behind the scenes of the film and see some of the props that helped bring the movie to life exclusively at Disney California Adventure.
So, if you plan on visiting Disneyland this holiday season, stop by the Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge!
As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the festive fun taking place at Disneyland!
