Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass Sells Out For Thanksgiving Day

In what has become an increasingly common occurrence, another Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out, this time on Thanksgiving Day.

If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the demand for the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

As a quick reminder, the Premier Pass was introduced last month as a new tier of Lightning Lane passes.

The Lighting Lane Premier Pass is available to guests staying at Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts, Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels. The pass allows guests a one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in one of Disney World’s four theme parks.

As an added bonus, guests do not need to schedule their arrival for each Lightning Lane attraction. They can simply show up and ride!

Lightning Lane Premier Passes Have Begun To Rapidly Sell Out

While initially, some skepticism existed that the new pass would find a market due to its high price point, those fears seem to have been unfounded.

With Thanksgiving break just around the corner and thus heavy crowds expected at Walt Disney World next week, we have seen Lightning Lane Premier Passes begin to sell out at an increasing rate.

First, the November 25 Lighting Lane Premier Passes for Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios sold out. Then, yesterday, the Magic Kingdom Lighting Lane Premier Pass for November 26 sold out.

Now, for the third day in a row, a Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out.

Another Lightning Lane Premier Pass Sellout

A quick look at the Walt Disney World calendar shows that the Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for November 28, which is Thanksgiving Day.

It should be noted that the Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Pass cost $450 on the day it sold out!

At the time of this writing, Premier Passes are still available for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Thanksgiving.

As we have seen over the last week, Magic Kingdom is clearly the most popular park for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Still, it would not be surprising if we see Disney’s Hollywood Studios also begin to sell out next week.
