Check Out the First Coco-Themed Dining Experience Aboard the Disney Treasure!
MickeyBlog is LIVE from the unveiling of the new Disney Treasure cruise ship in New York today.

Disney Treasure
The ship was christened last night, and today, we are bringing you a first look at this stunning new ship and its incredible offerings, including new entertainment, a view of the staterooms, merchandise, and so much more.
This new ship also boasts three imaginative restaurants, and we could not wait to check out the new Plaza de Coco dining experience! Let’s go take a look.
Plaza de Coco
Welcome to Plaza de Coco — the first theatrical dining experience themed to Pixar’s Coco!
It’s located on the new Disney Treasure cruise ship.
The venue pays homage to the film with things like the Rivera family’s Ofrenda incorporated into the design. It features family photos and marigolds.
Imagineers also made colorful papel picados inspired by the motifs in Mexican folklore, music, and floral elements. And, to celebrate the Rivera family’s shoemaking business, the space also has some shoes and traditional shoemaking equipment as decorations.
There are two distinct, celebratory nights at this restaurant. During both, you’ll experience live music and special appearances from characters as the story of Miguel and the Rivera family are brought to life!
Guests are immediately transported to the colorful Mariachi Plaza of Santa Cecilia where Miguel and the town mariachi band entertain with lively song and dance.
Disney said they looked far and wide for the most authentic mariachi band they could find!
On the second night, the plaza is transformed into a fun-filled Día de los Muertos celebration. Some characters you’ll see include Miguel, Abuelita, Mamá Imelda, and Héctor.
Disney Cruise Line never disappoints when it comes to food! Plaza de Coco offers a delicious menu featuring a festive lineup of family favorites and Mexican-inspired fare paired with themed drink options.
Some of the offerings include the Abuelita Elena Shrimp Diabla, Luisa’s Pollo Asado, and the Mexican Chocolate Tart.
Here’s a look at some more details around the space…
…like the missing guitar!
The theming here is spectacular!
We’re loving all the details.
