The Ship Was Christened Yesterday
In case you missed the news, the Disney Treasure was officially christened last night in New York City. It was a magical ceremony full of music and fun, and even an awe-inspiring drone shone!
On hand for the festivities was Disney CEO Bob Iger, who addressed the assembled media to preview the Treasure and discuss the importance of the Disney Cruise Line.
Bob Iger Thanks the Disney Treasure Crew
However, behind the scenes, Iger also addressed Cast Members, thanking them for their hard work and continued dedication.
“A magnificent ship is not enough. It takes a great crew to bring it to life, and I certainly feel that we have that great crew right here to deliver the kind of service that our fans expect,” Iger said.
“More than anything else, I want to congratulate all of you and wish you great luck and wonderful times on this most magnificent ship.”
