During a recent visit, MickeyBloggers spoke to a cast member at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, who confirmed the change. Instead of nail polish, young guests will now receive a “surprise” item.
These surprises could include delightful treasures like Minnie Mouse ears, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the experience.
Why the Change?
The cast member revealed that the change stems from a shortage of pixie dust from Pixie Hollow, which is affecting the availability of nail painting as part of the package. Although it’s unclear if nail painting will return in the future, this new offering is sure to bring smiles to little ones as they embark on their royal transformations.

Despite the recent updates in the park, Disney’s website for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique still mentions makeup, nail polish, and accessories as part of the experience. The packages continue to include hair styling options like:
- Royal Braid: Adorned with accessories
- Enchanted: Classic bun
- Fantasy: Curly hairpiece and flower halo
- Pixie Magic: Ponytail accessory and flower halo
Guests can also choose the Knight Package, which features a cool hairstyle crafted with styling gel and confetti. Some packages even come with Disney-themed costumes in various sizes, ensuring every child’s magical wishes come true.
