FULL GUIDE to Kid-Friendly Holiday Offerings at Disney World & Disneyland!
It’s the holiday season and Disney is celebrating! We’ve seen all kinds of festive merchandise, food, decorations, and more.

Disney actually just released their Ultimate Guide to Kid-Friendly Holiday Offerings at Disney Parks, so let’s take a look at what there is to do at Disney World and Disneyland!
Walt Disney World
One exciting activity for kids at Disney World is Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt that takes place during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays! The festival takes place from November 29th through December 30th.
Kids can grab a map and search for holiday traditions that Olaf has scattered around EPCOT’s World Showcase. When you’ve completed the scavenger hunt, you can redeem your map at select merchandise locations for a gift!

Another great kid-friendly activity at EPCOT is taking a ride on Living with the Land — Glimmering Greenhouses. The classic attraction gets a holiday makeover that kids will love!

Over at Hollywood Studios, you can check out For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, where you can join Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf and sing along to your favorite songs from the iconic movie. There’s even a special holiday finale added into the show right now!

Disney also suggests going over to Toy Story Land to check out the toy-sized holidays with the season decor and your favorite Toy Story friends dressed in their holiday outfits!

In Animal Kingdom, make sure to say hi to the Merry Menagerie puppeteers on Discovery Island in front of the Tree of Life! You can find beautifully crafted wintry animal puppets like polar bears, foxes, penguins, and more.

Then, meet Minnie & Mickey in their holiday outfits at Adventurers Outpost!

Finally, in Magic Kingdom, you can see the Frozen Holiday Surprise in the evening, where Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf will transform Cinderella Castle into a glimmering crystallized palace.

And, don’t forget to hop on Jingle Cruise, which is what Jungle Cruise has transformed into for the holidays!

You can also get a super festive experience during the separately-ticketed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which happens on select nights through December 20th.
Disneyland Resort
Now, let’s talk about what there is to do in Disneyland! From Monday through Friday, you can check out the new Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure Park.
Here, you can sing along with Mirabel from Encanto and her friends as they celebrate the holidays! And, at Disney ¡Viva Navidad! in Disney California Adventure, kids can see Mirabel from Encanto or The Three Caballeros.

At night, check out A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel! on Buena Vista Street at California Adventure. There’s a mix of stories and songs brought to life by Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland, accompanied by dancers, as they deliver bilingual performances in this new celebration of the holidays.
The show ends with a special appearance by Miguel from Coco doing a rendition of Silent Night.

A new offering this year is that Santa and some Disney friends are making appearances and posing for photos at Holiday Fun with Santa & Friends at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland. Santa will also stop for photos at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure through December 24th.
And, from November 28th through December 24th, Santa will be at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Palace Hotel.

If you’re checking out Town Square Disneyland, you might also find Mickey, Minnie, and Friends in their all-new holiday outfits and posing for photos!

For some kid-friendly attractions, take a ride on “it’s a small world” Holiday at Disneyland, which is decorated with thousands of lights, ornaments, and more as the characters are dressed up in their festive attire and their iconic music is enhanced with songs like “Jingle Bells” and “Deck the Halls.”

At California Adventure, Radiator Springs is getting in the spirit! Check out Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

A fun activity to do with little ones is Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail in the Downtown Disney District! This takes place from November 22nd through January 1st of next year.
You can buy a map at select shopping locations that will help you find the hidden ornaments on holiday trees. Then, you can redeem your map for a holiday keepsake!

Families can get a holiday meal and meet some Disney characters during the holiday dining experiences at several hotels in Disneyland Resort.
From November 19th through January 1st of next year, Storytellers Cafe at Grand Californian will host the new Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch. Here, you can enjoy a meal with some holiday-themed bites as Disney friends sport all-new cozy pajamas.

And, Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays is back at Disneyland Hotel from November 19th through January 2nd of next year. Goofy and his friends are in their merry best and there is a seasonal menu available!
