Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opens in Disneyland
It’s been QUITE a while since Splash Mountain closed in Disneyland, and we’ve watched for months as construction crews worked to transform the previously craggy peak into the lush rolling hills of Princess Tiana’s salt mine.
Now, the big day has finally arrived, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is OFFICIALLY opening to Disneyland guests!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened this summer in Disney World, but fans on the West Coast have had to practice their patience just a little bit longer!
Fortunately, the wait is OVER, and the brand-new attraction has officially opened its doors.

Before joining the queue, guests will come upon this sign, which indicates the ride’s 40″ height requirement. In case you weren’t already aware, it ALSO serves as a fair warning that you MAY get a little (or A LOT!) wet.

Inside the queue, you’ll pass a wall full of Tiana’s heartwarming family photos and meaningful mementos…

…and pay a visit to her kitchen!

The detail in the kitchen area is truly impressive. We spotted Tiana’s famous beignets, a recipe card, and even a chalk-written party invitation that lays the groundwork for the attraction’s storyline.
As you approach the loading area, you’ll see the ride vehicles, which are the same Splash Mountain logs we all know and love. Remember, Disneyland’s version has single-file seating!

As you journey through the bayou, you’ll encounter beloved characters from The Princess and the Frog, and meet some new friends along the way!
