The Holidays Have Officially Begun at Disneyland Resort!
It’s officially the holiday season at Disneyland Resort! Festivities kick off today, November 15th, and run through January 6th of next year.
We’ve already seen some decorations go up and merchandise released, but much more fun is now happening. Let’s take a look at everything being offered starting today in Disneyland!
Holidays Officially Start at Disneyland
Disneyland Park
First of all, know that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is officially open in Disneyland Park starting today!
Also remember that Haunted Mansion Holiday is currently going on…
…and so is “it’s a small world” holiday!
You can head over to the Fantasyland Theater for Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends! This runs from 10:30AM to 4:30PM each day.
You can meet Santa along with various other characters…
…and there are also photo ops, storytellers, Disney short films…
…as well as craft-making and sing-alongs of holiday classics!
Don’t forget to check out your favorite friends decked out in their holiday outfits! We spotted Donald Duck…
…Mickey…
…Minnie…
…Clarabelle Cow…
…and Chip ‘n’ Dale!
There’s also some exciting new souvenirs being released, like this gingerbread house popcorn bucket!

As for entertainment, Disneyland’s “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” is back in the park…
…and so are the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks! Check the Disneyland app for daily showtimes!

Disney California Adventure Park
In DCA, there is a lot going on! First of all, the Disney Festival of Holidays begins today.
The festival includes Festive Food Marketplaces…
…along with entertainment like Disney ¡Viva Navidad! and World of Color – Season of Light.
There are also some special ride overlays, like Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl in Cars Land!
Nighttime entertainment includes the Holiday Lighting Moments at the Buena Vista Street Tree Lighting.
There are also some new offerings, like “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” which takes place Mondays through Fridays outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park. You can see Mirabel on select days in DCA’s Paradise Gardens gazebo.
And, check out the new “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” which takes place Mondays through Fridays.
You can meet Santa Claus at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail from now through December 24th!
Also, don’t miss “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” and Holiday Toy Drummers that march along the DCA parade route daily and up in front of the obelisk in Paradise Gardens Park!
Finally, all around DCA, catch live bands and cultural performances, with a variety of genres like mariachi, jazz, klezmer, Latin pop, fusion, reggae, polka, and more!
