We Met Santa Claus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
With the holiday season now in full swing at Walt Disney World, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is finally getting in on the fun!
Today, Merry Menagerie will arrive at Discovery Island, Mickey and Minnie are busting out their festive finest, and Santa Claus is coming!
That’s right! For the first time ever, guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom can meet jolly old St. Nick himself at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party.
Taking place on the patio at Restaurantosaurus, the Dino Institute interns are throwing one last holiday bash as the DinoLand countdown to extinction continues.
Previously, we updated you on all the festive DinoLand decor added to Restaurantosaurs in preparation for Santa’s arrival.
Now, however, it is time to meet Kris Kringle himself!
How to Meet Santa
We headed straight to DinoLand this morning, where Cast Members eagerly awaited Santa’s arrival.
Fun fact — this is the first Santa Claus meet-and-greet in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
The Restaurantosaurus patio looked great, with DinoLand stockings hung by the chimney with care and plenty of fun tributes to the land.
Guests must wait in a traditional queue to meet Santa. The 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party does not use a virtual queue or text check-in.
Cast Members stood by to help manage the line and make sure everyone got their chance to meet Santa.

A Festively Fun Meet and Greet
As you can see, Disney has gone all out with these holiday decorations.
They are the perfect blend of Christmas and the prehistoric humor that DinoLand is known for!
I mean, there is even a Dr. Grant Seeker Employee of the Month award!

Santa is meeting guests on the large couch on the patio. As you can see, the Dino Institute is proud that he came to visit!
St. Nick was as jolly as ever.

Santa meets at 10AM, 11:45AM, 1:45PM. and 3:30PM.
