PHOTOS: Merry Menagerie Returns to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
With the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties and Disney Jollywood Nights events behind us, the holiday season has officially arrived at Walt Disney World.

Over the last week or so, we here at MickeyBlog have brought you updates on all the fun festivities taking place around the resort. This has included the opening of the Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, the arrival of the Main Street, U.S.A. dioramas, and all the festive fun taking place at Disney Springs.
Today, however, the holiday season kicked off at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Earlier, we even met Santa at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party.
Now, I want to turn your attention to Discovery Island, where a fan-favorite holiday experience has returned!
Merry Menagerie Is Back!
Merry Menagerie has officially returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
On Discovery Island, guests can interact with various artisan-sculpted puppets of different arctic animals!
Among the critters guests can find are reindeer, polar bears, penguins, foxes, and seals!
Live musicians are also included in the Merry Menagerie, helping to create a festive atmosphere and get guests into the holiday spirit.
The talented performers really bring the Merry Menagerie animals to life.

Where to Find the Show
If you want to catch Merry Menagerie, head over to Discovery Island between 9:45 AM and 5:00 PM. The puppets can usually be found between Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading.
