NEW Details Announced for Downtown Disney’s Transformation at Disneyland Resort
A lot is going on at Disneyland Resort right now! Holiday decorations are going up, festive food will be hitting the menus soon, and cozy merchandise has hit the shelves.
But that’s not all! Disney just revealed some exciting details about what’s coming soon to the Downtown Disney District.
Coming Soon to Downtown Disney
New Stores Opening Soon
Three new stores are coming soon to Downtown Disney and now Disney is sharing some more details!
Avengers Reserve will be opening on December 6th of this year and will celebrate the stories of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! The store’s entrance will feature a 9-foot Incredible Hulk sculpture smashing through the wall and Spider-Man can be seen on top of the building.

Inside, you can find a high-energy, industrial vibe complete with lighting effects, actual film props, and a media screen with a gaming demonstration station. The store will have comic books, collectibles, apparel, toys, and more.
The new D-Lander Shop will also be opening up on December 6th! It will be light, bright, and modern with some pops of colors, a lounge area, and fabulous artwork.

This is where you can find some trendy items like designer apparel, handbags, and jewelry from brands like Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, and Pandora Jewelry!
Finally, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets will be opening up this winter. The inside will be whimsical and colorful with dimensional murals and exhibition kitchens viewable from the promenade and inside the shop.

Here, you can find caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, churro toffee, and freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn for the very first time!
New Details on Parkside Market (Opening This Winter!)
Parkside Market will officially be opening this winter! It will bring four distinctive locations under one roof, and Disney just revealed the name of the second story bar — Vista Parkside Market.

It will offer great views of the district as well as signature craft cocktails and mocktails made with local ingredients. And, you can enjoy the full-service Parkside Market menus at the bar!

Parkside Market will also be home to Seoul Sister, which is a fast-casual modern eatery that serves Korean-style rice bowls; Sip & Sonder, which will have lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks, and small bites; and GG’s Chicken Shop, which serves chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides.
First Look at Porto’s Bakery & Cafe
Disney also shared a first look at Porto’s Bakery & Cafe! Here, you can pick up their signature Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls, and other favorite goodies from its Bakery and Café.

If you’re looking for an enhanced Porto’s experience, this will also be the first Porto’s location with sit-down table service and a full bar!

New Restaurants Announced
We’ve also learned that two new restaurants are in the works for the Downtown Disney District! They’re both from Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori.
The first one is Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, which will be a classic steakhouse with a center bar offering prime cuts of beef, fresh seafood, sandwiches and salads, and an large selection of bourbon and cocktails.

Right next door you can find Pearl’s Roadside BBQ, which will be a quick service eatery offering things like pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked heritage turkey with house-made sauces, along with craft beers and moonshine cocktails.

Work will begin soon on these two new restaurants, which will be built on the footprint of the former Tortilla Jo’s.
New Designs at The LEGO Store
The LEGO Store is building some new creations as part of their refurbishment of their flagship Downtown Disney store! The store will reopen with refreshed interior spaces and the Master Builders are beginning work soon on new sculptures for the exterior.

Holidays at Downtown Disney
Finally, Disney shared a look at the holiday celebrations coming to the Downtown Disney District! You can celebrate the season from November 15th through January 6th of next year.
There will be twinkling decor, boutique shopping, a new holiday ornament cart, special holiday menus at select restaurants, live music, and family festivities.

You can catch the nightly snowfall from 6PM to 10PM every night starting November 29th at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn. There will also be a special photo op from Disney Vacation Club!
And, check out Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail for hidden ornaments on display from November 22nd through January 1st of next year. Buy an activity map at select shopping locations in Downtown Disney and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Then, redeem it at World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders for a holiday keepsake.
