Disney Will Livestream the Disney Treasure’s Christening — Here’s How to Watch

In case you missed the news, the Disney Treasure arrived in Port Canaveral this morning, marking a historic moment in Disney Cruise Line history.

While guests will have to wait a little longer to set sail aboard the new vessel, the festivities surrounding the arrival of the Disney Treasures will continue tomorrow when Disney celebrates the ship’s christening!

For those who don’t know, christening is a maritime tradition that brings good luck to a ship, its crew, and all future travelers.

Disney fans can watch the Disney Treasure christening live on Disney Parks Blog. The festivities will kick off on November 19 at 8:00 PM ET.

The Disney Treasure Prepares to Set Sail

If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we could not be more excited about the launch of the Disney Treasures later this year. Having watched as the ship was constructed in the Meyer Werft shipyard and now successfully making the journey across the Atlantic Ocean to Port Canaveral, Florida, this is an exciting time to be a Disney Cruise Line fan.

The latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Treasure, was inspired by classic Disney tales of adventure. The ship will feature the amenities, recreation opportunities, and customer service that travelers have come to expect from Disney Cruise Line, but it will also debut a slew of brand-new experiences!
