Disney+ Celebrates Five Years Of Streaming With a Sneak Peek at Its 2025 Slate

As crazy as it sounds, Disney+ is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year.

Since launching in 2019, the streamer has become one of the premiere streaming services and is now a must-have for any Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, or FX fan.

In celebration of its big anniversary, Disney+ shared a new trailer that gives fans a glimpse at what it has coming in 2025. Featuring never-before-seen footage of both new and returning series, the new clip will have any fan excited for the next year.

‘The Bear’ and ‘The Handsmaid’s Tale’ Return

Jammed-packed into the two-minute clip are previews of the popular returning FX series The Bear and The Handmaid’s Tale.

Also featured were new Hulu originals, including FX’s Alien: Earth, Glen Powell’s Chad Powers, and the upcoming Ellen Pompeo limited series Good American Family.

A Big Year For ‘Star Wars’ and Marvel

Star Wars fans will be thrilled that Cassian Andor is featured heavily in the new clip. The long-awaited Andor Season 2 will hit Disney+ on April 22, 2025.

Interestingly, the trailer also features Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which will premiere on December 3, 2024.

Marvel Television, meanwhile, is represented by Daredevil: Born Again (streaming March 4, 2025) and Ironheart, which will debut on June 24, 2025.

Additionally, Deadpool & Wolverine is now available on the streaming service.

‘Goosebumps’ and ‘Percy Jackson’ 

Last but certainly not least, we have Disney Branded Television. The production unit has Goosebumps: The Vanishing premiering on January 10, 2025, as well as Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2.
