A New Star at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Dr. Mark Penning took to Instagram this afternoon to announce that the Disney Parks Blog is launching a new Tiger TV Tuesdays series!

“This is your exclusive opportunity to take a peek backstage at our new baby tiger Batsko,” explained Dr. Penning
Batsko and his mother are Sumatran tigers, a critically endangered subspecies of Tiger from the island of Sumatra. While the tigers on neighboring islands, including Bali and Java, have gone extinct, the Sumatran tiger is hanging on, and Disney is helping with conservation efforts.

“We hope you’ll tune in and join Batsko on his big adventure towards his big debut on the Maharajah Jungle Trek,” Dr. Penning concluded.
