NEW Snacks Shine at ABC Commissary for Disney’s Jollywood Nights!
It’s the first Jollywood Nights tonight and we’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check everything out! There’s a ton of new entertainment and food this year.
Speaking of food, let’s go try out some new snacks at ABC Commissary!
ABC Commissary Snacks
First up, we have the new Cauliflower Taco for $4.49. This is chili pepper-lime dusted fried cauliflower on top of a corn tortilla with diced onions, cilantro, and a chipotle cashew “crema” — it’s a plant-based snack!
This was fantastic! The cauliflower was seasoned perfectly with the pepper and lime. We also thought it was cooked very well — the fried cauliflower wasn’t soggy and it held up its shape.
The diced onions and cilantro with the crema really rounded out the whole dish. Those elements along with the soft, fresh flour taco made this a hit!
Next, we got the new Taco ‘bout a Holiday Cookie! for $5.79. These are cranberry cheesecake-filled chocolate cookies dipped in cranberry-white chocolate topped with pistachio whipped cream, gold crispy pearls, chocolate holly leaf décor, and holiday sprinkles.
We thought this was very interesting! It really reminded us of the holiday season with those flavors. It was sweet, but not overly sweet thanks to that cheesecake. The chocolate cookies held it together in a cute taco-shaped dessert!
The cookies were soft but they did hold up pretty well. The pistachio-whipped cream was fantastic and it had a very light pistachio flavor. This dessert overall wasn’t too sweet and we’d definitely recommend it!
Finally, we got the new Coquito for $9! It’s coconut cream, coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, Bacardí Rum, and Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum topped with cinnamon.
This drink had a very thick, creamy consistency. It was sweet and we could taste a lot of rum in it!
It almost tasted like rice pudding to us. It was delicious and we highly recommend it!
