Disney Shares New ‘Disney Starlight’ Concept Art Featuring Moana
At D23: The Ultimate Fan Event in August, Disney announced that a new nighttime parade would finally arrive at Magic Kingdom in 2025.
The new procession, Disney Starlight, will build on the legacy of the Main Street Electrical Parade and use the latest technology to tell classic Disney stories.
At the time, Disney revealed that the parade would be brought to life through the magic of the Blue Fairy and feature characters from Peter Pan, Encanto, and Frozen.

As Magic Kingdom has not had a year-round nighttime parade since the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its run in 2016, fans were understandably excited.

Today, at D23: Brazil, Disney Experience chairman Josh D’Amaro gave fans a glimpse at the upcoming parade, sharing concept art of the procession’s Moana float!

The new concept art shows Moana sailing high above the waves on her iconic boat. Plenty of glimmering lights add to the magical scene. True to Disney’s announcement the parade looks like it will be a modern version of the Main Street Electrical Parade!
When Will ‘Disney Starlight’ Premiere?
While we know that Disney Starlight will debut next summer, we do not have an official premiere date yet.
Disney Starlight will debut at Magic Kingdom next year!
