Check Out the Highlights From the First Day of D23 Brazil
D23 just finished up its first day celebrating with Disney fans in Brazil, and attendees had a great time kicking off the fun.
This was the first time that the exciting celebration was held here, with the event kicking off in the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo.
2024 D24 Expo
The event started off with a ribbon cutting by Renato D’Angelo, General Manager of The Walt Disney Company Brazil, alongside the beloved Brazilian Disney character, Zé Carioca.

Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro also took the stage and brought more excitement, sharing information about the Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney World, and Epic Games.
Here are a few of the highlights from the first night of the event.
Star-Studded Celebration
The night kicked off with a bang with a beloved celebrity.
Actress and singer Larissa Manoela, along with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, opened the show for the excited crowd.
Special Live Performance
Everyone loves Moana, and the evening included a special treat! Guests got a great first look at what to expect on board the Disney Treasure and were also treated to a special Moana performance in Portuguese.
A New Nighttime Parade
More Moana! Brazilian fans got a sneak peek at a brand-new float featuring the Disney icon.
This new float is part of the nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom, “Disney Starlight.”
A Pirate’s Life For Me
Another Magic Kingdom update!
An Exciting Collaboration
A new world is coming where your favorite Disney characters and worlds are merging together in one connected universe.
With this new collaboration with Epic Games, Disney fans will be able to watch, play, and create their own Disney stories.
A Memorable Finale
What a great way to end the day! Larissa came out again to conclude the show with the iconic song “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
She was joined on stage by classic Disney characters, including special guest Jose Carioca.
