The holiday season is finally here, and we’re coming at you live from Disney’s Hollywood Studios (where the season’s first Jollywood Night is about to begin)!

Disney Jollywood Nights, the ticketed holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has returned! The party throws guests into the glitz and glam of the holiday season in Hollywood, with festive entertainment, special characters, an ice show, and much more! And guests can commemorate their special night with the Disney PhotoPass and Magic Shot opportunities–let’s check them all out!
PhotoPass and Magic Shot Opportunities
On select nights from November 9th through December 21st, Disney Jollywood Nights will take over Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Unlike Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party over in Magic Kingdom, digital event photos and videos are included with your ticket! So, since they’re free, you might as well snap some pictures– here’s where you can get your close-up.

Over by Muppet*Vision 3D, you can take advantage of the Warm & Fozzie Video Op! This one is so unique! You can also choose a snow-glo option which just pans in and out at a slower rate. They have props like hats, rubber chickens, and a director’s cut.
When we did the Muppet Video Op, the line was surprisingly short. While in line, you’ll speak to a Cast Member about which option you want, and they’ll give you great recommendations and information! They’ll also help you brainstorm movement ideas–hair flips, spins, winks, dances, you name it. Oh–and you get a practice shot to test your movements to ensure they work!

And if you struggle to visualize what the shots look like, they have video displays that show you the Snow-Glo…

It wouldn’t be a Jollywood Night without an Ollie Magic Shot! You can snap a picture with the party’s famous gingerbread man near the Hollywood Studios arch.

The Camera Array Video Op can be found in the Animation Courtyard by the Disney Studio Store. It has a bright, festive background, and takes a boomerang-style clip.
Gift some holiday magic to Kermit and Miss Piggy with the Muppets Magic Shot! Disney PhotoPass photographers stationed near the Once Upon a Time store on Sunset Boulevard can take this shot for you.

“Direct” your special shot with the Disney Jollywood Nights Prop! It’s available from the Disney PhotoPass photographer located at the end of Hollywood Boulevard.

Pose in front of the Disney Jollywood Nights Backdrop over by ABC Commissary! The red backdrop has tinsel, holiday icons, the party’s logo, and the park’s logo.

There’s also a Christmas Tree Photo Op by Red Carpet Dreams, which is more low-key than the others. If you’re hoping to take a classic, traditional holiday picture, this is probably your best bet.
