Living the Disney Dream at Golden Oak
Golden Oak, where Bellemare calls home, is a one-of-a-kind, gated luxury community designed for those with a deep love for Disney. Located just minutes from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Golden Oak offers 81 custom-built homes, with property prices ranging from $1.5 million to $20 million. Residents enjoy access to exclusive amenities, such as a private clubhouse, spa, golf course, and even the facilities of the nearby Four Seasons Resort. It’s a Disney lover’s dream come true!

Bellemare, who splits her time between her home in Canada and her Disney abode, shares snippets of her Disney World lifestyle with her followers on social media, giving a rare glimpse into this magical community. In one of her YouTube videos, Bellemare explains that her Golden Oak home was custom-built with her husband, Andre, featuring thoughtful Disney touches that give it a subtle charm without going over the top.

A Custom Home with a Touch of Disney Magic
The Bellemare home in Golden Oak is anything but cliché. While there are a few nods to Mickey Mouse—like a Mickey-shaped water feature by the pool and an iron Mickey Mouse detail in the air vents—Bellemare shares that her home leans more toward an elegant, beachy vibe rather than a “loud” Disney aesthetic.

“We just value the company of Disney. We don’t need characters hanging from the roof,” she explains, highlighting that Golden Oak homes are sophisticated and tasteful. “I’m sure there are some people in the neighborhood who have that, but it’s not [just about] being a Disney nerd—it’s the idea of having a quality home.”

Daily Disney Adventures
Living in Walt Disney World comes with some unique perks! Bellemare’s typical day often includes early morning trips to the parks. In one of her vlogs, she shares how she and Andre can drive the four minutes from Golden Oak to Disney Springs, where they get a prime parking spot reserved for Golden Oak residents. They hit the shops before the crowds arrive, scoring exclusive merchandise like Nightmare Before Christmas LEGO sets and rare Disney Halloween decor.

Being close to the parks also means Bellemare can enjoy attractions and seasonal events before the lines get long. She has shared videos of herself and Andre strolling around Epcot, enjoying flights at the tequila bar in Mexico, and even grabbing Halloween-themed merchandise before it sells out. For Bellemare, Disney adulting is all about experiencing the magic with a bit of exclusivity!

Magical Evenings in Epcot
One of the perks of living in Golden Oak is the ability to enjoy Disney World’s nighttime magic without the crowds. Bellemare shared how she and her husband love ending their day at Epcot’s Italian Pavilion, where they discovered a hidden gem—a cozy wine bar inside the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar.

During one visit, the couple enjoyed an intimate evening watching the fireworks show, completely alone outside the pavilion. “It’s like these little moments of Disney magic,” she says, describing the surreal feeling of experiencing the show with just her husband by her side.
Making the Dream a Reality
Bellemare has documented her journey to her “dream home” in Disney World, a goal she and her husband worked toward for years. After exploring various properties, the couple finally found the perfect empty lot in 2019 and began construction on their custom home. They moved in by July 2021, and Bellemare has since shared regular updates on her Disney-inspired decor, her daily routine, and her adventures around the park.

Living inside Walt Disney World is a lifestyle choice few can imagine, but Bellemare insists it’s not just about Disney characters—it’s about creating a dream life surrounded by magic. She acknowledges the hard work it took to make it happen, expressing gratitude for the Disney team that helped her every step of the way.
Considering a Move to Golden Oak, or near Disney World?
While Golden Oak might be the pinnacle of Disney living, it’s not the only option. The Walt Disney World Resort area offers a range of neighborhoods with varying price points. Other popular communities include Plantation Park, Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Windsor Hills, and Keenes Pointe, where homes are more affordable than Golden Oak’s $1.5 million starting prices. The median home price in the Walt Disney World area is around $528,000, providing other Disney fans a chance to live near the magic.
