MickeyBlog is LIVE From the First Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of 2024
We’re BACK at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
Magic Kingdom is all decked out for the holidays and we can’t wait to check out the party. Follow along with us as we check out the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party night of 2024!
We will be updating this post throughout the night, so please continue to check back in with us!
Party Dates & Park Hours
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights between November 8 to December 20, 2024, from 7PM to midnight. To attend the party, you must purchase a separate ticket, which ranges in price from $169 to $219 per adult (ages 10+), depending on the date.
Although the event doesn’t begin until 7PM, ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4PM without any park reservation.
At the time of writing, a few party nights have already sold out. There are still some dates available, however, so make sure you get your tickets sooner rather than later!
Tonight’s party is sold out.
Crowds
Although ticket holders cannot enter Magic Kingdom until 4PM, we typically arrive early to get in line. Just before 4PM, this is what the line looked like to get inside the park.

If you want to take advantage of the bonus 3 hours in the park, make sure you arrive early!
Cast Members were looking festive in their special holiday costumes.
Once inside the park, Cast Members and signs directed us to the wristband distribution area.
Map & Checking In
Once we entered the park, we were handed an event map.
We got our map and we’re ready to check out all the festive fun! pic.twitter.com/pMOYZSUHVu

As always, the map is an important guide to all the key party areas around Magic Kingdom…
…including food, entertainment, characters, and more.
Next, we were directed to a Wristband Distribution area. There, we were given a wristband and a complimentary ornament.
Wristband Distribution areas are located throughout Magic Kingdom. We visited the one located near the entrance of the park. Other wristband distribution stations include Tortuga Tavern, PhilharMagic, and across from Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
Here’s what the complimentary ornament looks like this year!
The wristband is a soft gold fabric and says “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.” Ours tied on comfortably.
See more photos of the map, wristband, and ornament here!
Characters
Characters are a key element of Disney World party events, with some exclusive characters you can’t normally find in the parks as well as other characters in special holiday costumes.
First, we encountered Gingerbread Men on Market Street!
Some Cast Members were also dressed as snow angels on stilts.
We also met Santa…
…some elves…
…and a polar bear!
You can keep up with all of the characters right here!

We grabbed ours at Columbia Harbour House! It was a caramel, pretzel, chocolate chip cookie, and regular hot chocolate.
You can tell where to get your free treats because there are giant candy cane-striped blow-ups outside of the locations!
There are also allergy-friendly options — Cast Members told us they should have a dietary book at each location for anyone who needs it. Here’s some of the allergy-friendly options:
