PHOTOS: Disney’s Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Display Has Arrived!
In case you haven’t heard, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World.
With just one day to go until the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the entire resort is starting to come alive with festive fun and holiday cheer.

Over the past couple of days, we have seen Christmas come early to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom get ready for Santa to come, and the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
Now, however, I want to turn your attention to another Disney World monorail resort!
A Regal Gingerbread Display
The gingerbread house at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has finally been unveiled!

Inspired by Cinderella’s Dream Castle, the gingerbread structure looks magical.

The Contemporary Resort Bakery Team spent 30 days and used 1013 pounds of flour to bring the regal gingerbread house to life.

In total, over 4,000 castle gingerbread bricks were made and decorated by 40 Cast Members.

They also used 13 gallons of milk, 440 jars of honey, 613 pounds of sugar, 113 pounds of gingerbread spice, 25 pounds of chocolate, and 70 pounds of modeling chocolate.

As this is the 13th year that the Contemporary Resort gingerbread display has been presented, Disney has hidden 13 hidden Mickeys throughout the structure.

The Gingerbread House Will Open Tomorrow
The Disney’s Contemporary Resort gingerbread display will officially open tomorrow with sweet treats and merchandise available for purchase. I can’t wait!
