Disney Unveils Three Model Homes in Cotino, a Storyliving By Disney Community
A magical new chapter in Disney history is currently being written in California’s Coachella Valley as construction on Cotino, a Storyliving by Disney Community continues.
The first in what appears to be a long line of Storyliving communities, Cotino was inspired by the rich history and landscape of the Coachella Valley, from its rural beginnings to its more contemporary styles.
Cotino was master-planned by Disney, designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, and staffed by Disney Cast Members. Essentially, residents will get the chance to live within the Disney magic.

The last time we checked in on the development of Cotino, Bret Iwan gave fans a glimpse into the project’s construction. In the short video, the model homes coming to Cotino were previewed.
Now, I am happy to report that the community’s first three model homes have been completed!
A Major Milestone For Cotino
Constructed by Shea Homes, the three different floorplans give potential Cotino residents an idea of what to expect from the community.

Let’s take a closer look!
Melodia Model Home
The Melodia model home was designed to look contemporary and sleek, with a minimalist aesthetic. The house’s interior was inspired by One Hundred and One Dalmations and puts a modern spin on Cruella de Vil’s favorite color palette.

The Melodia home also features three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms, along with plenty of open space and an expansive outdoor living area.

Moderne Model Home
Next, we have the Moderne model home. Blending warm, neutral tones with a modern floorplan, the two-story home design will be available exclusively for residents of Longtable Park who must be over the age of 55.

The Moderne model homes feature two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms, as well as plenty of open space on both floors. This includes a loft area and a front-facing covered deck!

Finally, the Moderne homes were inspired by Disneyland’s Adventureland and combined earthy textures with accents that “echo the scenery of exotic, adventurous locations.”
Atelier II Model Home
Last but certainly not least, we have the Atelier II model home.

With its bright colors and playful sophistication, this model home was inspired by the Disneyland poster artwork of the 1960s.

The one-story homes include two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a private front courtyard. Once again, these homes will only be available to Longtable Park residents.
