Walt Disney World Wait Times for Halloween Week 2024
Either the good times are over or have just begun, depending on your perspective.
We just finished Halloween Week at Disney theme parks. Since then, magical elves have performed their annual wizardry.
Disney has transformed into a winter wonderland, replacing the spooky decorations with merrier ones.
While the Halloween holiday parties have ended, the Christmas versions start this week, at least in Orlando.
So, before we move forward, let’s quickly glance back. Here are the average Walt Disney World wait times for Halloween Week 2024.

Final Thoughts
Okay, you can tell that we were down this week. At Magic Kingdom, the average attraction came with a wait of 23 minutes.
That’s two minutes less than last time, which is in line with the other parks at Walt Disney World.
Overall, the four parks required three fewer minutes of line time than the previous week.
I just checked, and that follows the trend from last year as well.
While the dates don’t align perfectly, Halloween Week also dipped last year.
The unmistakable trendline is that the locals do other things in Orlando during Halloween Week…unless they’re at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Since those events don’t factor into our attraction averages, the wait times tend to drop.
In 2023, the phenomenon was even more pronounced, with attraction wait times dropping nine minutes during Halloween Week.
I guess it makes sense, but for those of us who are Disney at Halloween evangelists, it’s a bit of a headscratcher.
