Limited Seating Returns to Woody’s Lunch Box as Patio Construction Continues
Since opening in 2018, Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has delighted guests young and old with its menu of classic American fare, including its brisket melt, smoked turkey sandwich, and world-famous grilled three-cheese sandwich.
Like the rest of Toy Story Land, however, a lack of shade has plagued the quick-service dining location.
While Woody’s Lunch Box has still managed to become a great place to grab food and go, it does not exactly provide a respite from the hot Florida sun.
Disney Demolished the Eatery’s Seating Area Earlier This Year
To rectify this, Disney completely demolished the eatery’s seating area earlier this year. While the resort did not give any details on the project, many hoped that Wood’s Lunch Box would receive enclosed, or at least covered, seating of some kind.
Well, I am happy to report that seating has returned to Woody’s Lunch Box less than two months later. Here is the latest!
Limited Seating Returns to Woody’s Lunch Box
While the construction project is still underway, tables and chairs have arrived outside of Woody’s Lunch Box.
This is the same furniture that was previously used at the eatery.
Some tables are covered by umbrellas, while others are not.
Though it remains to be seen what Disney has in store for the broader seating area, guests can at least sit down and enjoy the meal again.
Hopefully, the project will wrap up soon, and the patio will reopen in full.
