Tokyo Disney Resort Offers Special New Years Event for 2025
Can you believe New Year’s is just a few weeks away? Disney theme parks are getting ready to countdown to 2025 and offer plenty of New Year’s fun.
Walt Disney World has already released its New Year’s schedule, and the parks are already selling out.
Disney parks around the world are getting ready to celebrate, too. From January 1st to 13th, 2025, Tokyo Disney Resort is offering a special New Year event.
This year’s theme? It is the year of the snake!
Celebrate at Tokyo Disney
Mickey Mouse and his friends are celebrating the new year! Fans can find their Disney faves dressed in traditional Japanese outfits and greeting guests in the parks.

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and more will appear aboard a barge adorned with festive decorations to share their New Year’s greetings.

Guests will be greeted with colorful New Year’s decorations at the park entrances.
The entrance to World Bazaar in Tokyo Disneyland will be adorned with New Year’s kadomatsu decorations designed with Mickey Mouse wearing a Japanese outfit.

Beginning December 26th, Tokyo Disney Resort will offer delicious menu items and desserts perfect for the new year.
Guests can indulge in Japanese New Year Soup, “Daruma Sweets,” traditional Japanese desserts, and specialty teas.

The resorts will also offer new merchandise and exciting items themed to the snake, the Chinese Zodiac animal of 2025. New Daruma and Japanese good luck dolls are also coming soon.
