PHOTOS: More Elements Added to the ‘Glisten!’ Ice Skating Rink at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
With just days to go until the first Disney Jollywood Nights party, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Yesterday, we brought you the exciting news that the ice skating rink had arrived on Hollywood Boulevard for Glisten!, the new ice skating show set to debut at Jollywood Nights this year.
At the time, the stage was simply being set, with the rink installed and some lighting and sound equipment on the scene.
Now, I am happy to report that even more elements of the upcoming show have arrived! Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
When the Glisten! ice skating rink arrived at Diseny’s Hollywood Studios yesterday, there was certainly cause for excitement.
Here is what the scene looked like on November 4th.
Today, however, we noticed that more show elements, including decorative fencing, had been installed.
Here is a closer look at the new barricade.
As you can see, all four sides of the new ice skating rink have been blocked off.
In addition to the new lattice, the decor has been added to the light and sound stand.
What Is ‘Glisten!’?
A new addition to Disney Jollywood Nights this year, Glisten! will give Walt Disney World its first holiday ice skating show.
Every night on Hollywood Boulevard, the dazzling new ice skating show will bring international champion skaters to the stage, performing stunning routines set to a festive holiday soundtrack.
Audiences can enjoy a mix of original songs and beloved Disney classics, including fan favorites like “Be Our Guest” and “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
The festive fun will kick off on November 9, with the first Disney Jollywood Nights of 2024.
I, for one, can’t wait!
