As you can see, in honor of the spookiest day of the year, Disney Parks and Walt Disney Imagineering are shining the spotlight on the ultimate Disney Halloween attraction — the Haunted Mansion!
Marc Davis’ ‘Party in the Graveyard’
Today on Instagram, Imagineering shared original Haunted Mansion concept art by the one-and-only Marc Davis!
The image shows the swinging wake taking place in the Haunted Mansion’s graveyard, which is classic Davis.

I love that Marc not only included some happy haunts in this iteration of the scene, which is titled Party in the Graveyard, but also a pair of witches!
Finally, it is interesting to note that the graveyard caretaker looks fairly similar to his final design!
