Marvel Shares a First Look at Its 2025 Disney+ Slate — Here Is What’s Coming
With Agatha All Along set to wrap up on Disney+ this week, fans will have to wait a little bit for the next Marvel story to unfold.
Luckily, after a slower 2024, next year looks like it will be a massive undertaking for Marvel on Disney+, with six new series set to premiere.

To give fans a taste of what is in store, Marvel released a Look Ahead teaser today, sharing a first look at its upcoming slate of series.
Here is what we learned.
‘What If…?’ Season 3
2024 will come to an end with the release of Marvel Animation’s What If…? Season 3.
The final season of the fan-favorite animated series will continue to flesh out the multiverse, telling alternate stories of Marvel’s greatest heroes.

Marvel has previously teased that Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier, Red Guardian, and Giant-Man will all play a central role in the last season of What If…? The series will return on December 22 and drop episodes daily.
‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’
2025 will kick off when Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man premieres on January 29, 2025.
The animated series will follow Peter Parker’s adventures in high school. However, this will not be the same version of the character played by Tom Holland on the MCU’s Sacred Timeline.

Instead of meeting Tony Stark and being offered the Stark internship, this Peter comes into contact with Norman Osborne, who takes him under his wing.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’
The Marvel Cinematic Universe show to debut in 2025 will be the long-awaited Daredevil: Born Again.
A continuation of the Daredevil Netflix series that ran from 2015-2018, the return of Matt Murdock and Kingpin has been a long time coming.

Based on the brief clips shown in the new teaser, Marvel is adapting the Devil’s Reign storyline, which sees Kingpin become Mayor of New York City.
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on March 4, 2025.
‘Ironheart’
After months of speculation that Ironheart had been canceled, Marvel announced earlier this year that the show would finally arrive on Disney+ in 2025.
A spin-off of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ironheart will focus on the story of Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams as she returns from MIT to her hometown of Chicago with her iron suit in hand. There, she begins unraveling threads that bring danger and adventure to her doorstep.

“I want to build something undeniable,” Williams declares in the new teaser.
Ironheart will debut on June 24, 2025.
‘Eyes of Wakanda’
The second new Marvel Animation release of 2025 will be Eyes of Wakanda, which is scheduled to hit Disney+ on August 6, 2025.
Set on the MCU’s Sacred Timeline, the series will tell the story of Wakandan warriors who must venture out into the world and retrieve vibranium artifacts.

“Throughout Wakandan history, brave warriors have been tasked to travel the world retrieving dangerous vibranium artifacts. This is their story,” the official description reads.
‘Marvel Zombies’
Last but certainly not least, we have Marvel Zombies. Set to debut on Disney+ next October (just in time for Halloween), the What If…? spinoff will be Marvel’s first animated series to be rated TV-MA.

The series will dive deeper into an alternate universe where Marvel’s heroes have been infected with a deadly virus.
“In terms of more mature animation, yeah. We’re making a Marvel Zombies show right now that is pretty intense that’s for sure a TV-MA show,” Marvel’s Head of Animation, Brad Winderbaum, explained.

“And again, it’s trying to honor the comics. And what was so great about the comics was it not pulling its punches. That’s certainly what we’re going for on that project also.”
‘Wonder Man’
Last but certainly not least, we have Wonder Man.
Called “extremely different” by Kevin Feige, the upcoming series will star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, a stuntperson who gains superpowers and becomes Wonder Man.

In addition to Abdul-Mateen II, the series will see the return of Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery and introduce Demetrius Grosse as Grim Reaper (who in the comics is Williams’ brother).
Briefly featured in the latest Marvel teaser, Williams is shown trying out for a film before later going on an adventure with Slattery.

Wonder Man will debut in December 2025.
