Disney Will Become the Exclusive Home of the Grammy Awards Beginning in 2027

In what can only be described as a monumental announcement, the Grammy Awards are leaving CBS after a 54-year run and heading to Disney.

Beginning in 2027, Music’s Biggest Night will air exclusively on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+ as part of a new 10-year global deal. The Recording Academy will also produce multiple Grammy-branded music specials and new programming for Disney’s various platforms.

Disney Is the Home For Marquee Events

By adding the Grammys to its impressive roster of marquee events, The Walt Disney Company now owns the broadcasting rights to The Oscars, The CMA Awards, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and Music’s Biggest Night.

In 2027, ABC alone will present The Grammys, The Oscars, and Super Bowl LXI.
