Disney+ Introduces New ‘Top 10 Today’ Collection Featuring Its Most Popular Titles

Just weeks after introducing the world to Streams, Disney+ has added another feature that makes it easier than ever to find the streaming service’s hottest shows.

Beginning today, Disney+ now features a “Top 10 Today” section that showcases the most popular content on the streamer. It is even tailored to each country and territory!

The new collection set not only showcases the shows and movies that are causing a buzz but will also alert guests to new titles and drive engagement.

How Top 10 Today Will Work

According to Disney, the Top 10 Today will reflect the Disney+ catalog and factor in the content available based on users’ subscriptions and settings.

Interestingly, the new collection will not simply be the most-viewed content of the day. Instead, the Top 10 Today will take into account several factors, including total views on the episode and movie levels within a day, and the gains that the title has made in popularity.

At launch, Top 10 Today will be available to all Disney+ subscribers, including those with the Disney Bundle.

However, the new collection will not be available on any profiles set to Junior Mode.

Disney+ Continues to Streamline

As Disney has drastically increased the amount of content on Disney+ through the integration of Hulu and the upcoming introduction of an ESPN tile, the streaming service has grown increasingly unwieldy.
