Mack was tasked with connecting Gen Z consumers to a new Mickey & Friends collegiate collection with GAP! The result is a successful campaign and collaboration that highlights everything we love about Disney!
Inspiration and Dreams
Mack drew inspiration from her university experience and passion for sports to bring Disney to the college scene.

Disney
Growing up, Mack’s primary goal was to play softball at the highest level. She achieved this dream by earning scholarships to the University of Oregon and the University of Alabama.
During her athletic career, Mack won Pac-12 and SEC championships, played in three Women’s College World Series, and built a solid social media presence as a student-athlete influencer.

During this time, Mack pursued bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public relations and advertising, creating a foundation for her future career at Disney.
Disney Journey
Mack’s journey with Disney began as a Public Relations intern for ESPN, which led her to role with Walt Disney World Public Relations and now Disney Consumer Products Public Relations.

Disney
One of her areas of focus is the Mickey & Friends brand, and she knew that the Gen Z focus would be a perfect fit for a college campus launch.
She shared:
I thought about what does inspire this audience – OOTDs (outfit of the day), the hottest brands from influencers, and of course college football! From there, I suggested we take this new collection to a college game day event at University of Alabama, where football is a huge passion for students, and launch it in a completely fresh way.

Disney
This bold campaign became a reality through teamwork and partnerships across various Disney departments. The result? A first-of-its-kind “Mickey & Friends” takeover during the University of Alabama vs. University of Georgia football game.
The successful event featured appearances by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, ESPN talent and Alabama’s Nick Saban, multiple influencers, and more!
Career Advice

Mack shared that returning to Alabama in a professional role felt surreal. “There were so many full-circle moments,” she said.
Her advice to aspiring professionals?
ANYTHING is possible if you work hard towards something as a team, and more importantly, believe in a shared WHY even harder. Times will get tough, and people won’t believe in an idea sometimes, but if you work hard, work as a team and you all believe in a shared vision, you will make it happen! I always think to myself what an opportunity it is when you find something that has never been done before because someone has to be the first to do it! There are people out there doing new things every day—why not YOU next?
