Hawaiian Airlines Celebrates the Upcoming Release of ‘Moana 2’ With Three Themed Aircraft
To celebrate the upcoming release of Moana 2, Disney and Hawaiian Airlines are teaming up to let guests soar through the sky in style.
Hawaiian Airlines will operate three Moana 2-themed aircraft for the next six months, with the first plane officially making its debut yesterday!
The first Moana-themed plane is an Airbus A330. In addition to the titular wayfinder, the aircraft features Maui, Kakamora, and a special “Welcome Voyagers” message for all guests taking flight on their next adventure. The Moana 2 logo is also prominently displayed.

Inside the plane, the Moana 2 theme continues on the luggage bins.
“As modern-day voyagers, we pride ourselves in sharing our host culture and ensuring our guests are immersed in unparalleled comfort and breathtaking discovery as they travel with us across the Pacific Ocean,” Hawaiian Airlines director of brand and culture, Alisa Onishi, said.
Disney and Hawaiian Airlines Have Teamed Up Before
This is not the first time Disney and Hawaiian Airlines have teamed up. In 2016, the two companies also joined forces to celebrate the release of Moana.

“Following the success of our first collaboration with ‘Moana,’ we are honored to reintroduce Moana, Maui, and their friends to our guests traveling between Hawaiʻi and Asia, Oceania, the U.S. continent and also within the Hawaiian Islands,” Onishi continued.
Two More Planes Will be Unveiled Next Month
The final two Moana-themed aircraft are set to debut next month. One plane will be an Airbus A321neo, which will service US markets and the Cook Islands. This plane will also have a Moana 2 AR experience, where guests can continue their adventure.
