Disney World Releases New Year’s Eve Park Hours and Fireworks Schedule
With Halloween just three days away, Walt Disney World is already starting to turn its attention to the holiday season.
Today, the resort released the park hours and fireworks schedule for New Year’s Eve 2024.

Here is what guests ringing in the new year at the Most Magical Place on Earth have to look forward to!
Magic Kindom
On New Year’s Eve, the Magic Kingdom will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Resort guests can enter early, at 8:30 AM, to get a jump-start on the fun.
New Year’s Eve Fireworks Over Cinderella Castle
As is tradition, the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks show will be performed at 6:30 PM and again at 11:50 PM as guests count down to the new year.
EPCOT
EPCOT, which has become the place to be on New Year’s Eve over the past couple of decades, will be open from 9:00 AM until 1:00 AM. Once again, Disney Resort guests can enter the park early at 8:30 AM.
Currently, Luminous The Symphony of Us is scheduled to be performed at 6:30 PM. The special New Year’s Eve firework show, Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration, is not yet listed on the calendar, but we expect that it will begin at the same time as last year at 11:54 PM.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also extending its hours on New Year’s Eve. The park is scheduled to be open from 9:00 AM until 12:00 AM. Although nothing special is planned for the park, the New Year’s Eve presentation of Fantasmic! will be held at 9:30 PM.
Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World
While New Year’s Eve is one of the most magical days to visit Walt Disney World, it is also one of the busiest.
As we have seen, park pass reservations have already started to sell out. So, if you plan on ringing in the new year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, make sure you plan ahead!
