Vivoli il Gelato Unexpectedly Closes at Disney Springs
Disney Springs is the ultimate stop for world-class entertainment, shopping, and, of course, eating. However, as recent events have shown, it is also constantly changing.
Earlier today, we brought you the news that OluKai was coming to The Landing, moving into the former location of Sanuk.
Now, it is my duty to report that Vivoli il Gelato has closed for refurbishment.
Vivoli il Gelato
For those who don’t know, Vivoli il Gelato is a gelato and sorbetto parlor located in The Landing section of Disney Springs.
The family-run shop has over 20 artisanal flavors available and offers cones, cups, sundaes, shakes and floats,
Considered to be one of the oldest gelaterias in Florence, Italy, Vivoli’s original location began scooping ice cream in 1930. Generations later, the tradition is continuing at Disney Springs.
While Vivoli il Gelato is a fan-favorite stop for those looking for a sweet treat, the restaurant recently unexpectedly closed.
The Store Is Closed, But Guests Can Still Get a Sweet Treat
By the look of things, the building is undergoing an interior renovation.
Luckily, guests visiting Disney Springs can still get their gelato fix during the refurbishment.
During the construction, Vivoli il Gelato set up a cart outside the main restaurant and is still serving sweet treats.
At this time, it is unclear how long Vivoli il Gelato will be closed. Hopefully, however, we get an update soon.
