PHOTOS: Mural is Complete on DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
We are getting closer and closer to the completion of the Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
The Island Tower, expected to open this December, is the newest addition to the Disney Vacation Club properties and will be an island-inspired oasis.
As the opening date approaches, we are seeing more and more great updates with plenty of construction happening in the towers, including painting, fencing, and greenery being added.
We spotted exterior artwork and a mural being added to the side of the tower just a few weeks ago, and today, the mural is complete!
Let’s check out the photos of the newest updates.
Completed Mural
The new tower will bring the Polynesian to life in new ways with gardens, seating areas, unique amenities, and more. One immersive detail is the art and design of the building.
Here is an excellent look at the completed mural of the turtle on the tower’s side. The art features neutral, earthy colors and swirling geometric shapes.
Here is another great view:
There is additional art and another mural started on the opposite side of the building.
The painting for the new mural has just started, but we are excited to see the final look.
In addition to the mural, we also spotted lighting on the sides of the building.
The new DVC Tower is coming along nicely. Stay tuned as we follow the progress of this latest Disney addition.
