The resort has limited-time fall foods at EPCOT’s Via Napoli, new bites at The Cake Bake Shop that’s finally opened on Disney’s BoardWalk, and new fry dishes! Let’s try out one of those new fry dishes right now!

7 new fry dishes have arrived at the Disney World Resort! Let’s head over to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter to try the new Cuban Fries! For $6.49, you get seasoned french fries, topped with mustard and Swiss cheese sauce, ham, and pickles. Sounds interesting…and that’s exactly how we’d define this dish.

The fries are salted and topped with mustard and cheese sauce which is…weird…but not necessarily bad. It’s just an interesting (there’s that word again) texture–mostly because the cheese wasn’t totally melted.

There are tiny pieces of ham and pickles, which provide a great flavor profile overall. But the sauce and its consistency threw off our tastebuds a bit.

So head over to the location if that appeals to your palate. The Cuban Fries are also being served at Centerown Market, Landscape of Flavors, and World Premiere Food Court.
