Ray’s Berets Replaces the Briar Patch in Disneyland’s Bayou Country
With Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Magic Key Previews officially underway, we are getting our first glimpse at the Disneyland version of the attraction and the changes made to the newly rechristened Bayou Country.
Yesterday, we walked you through the exterior queue of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and examined Louis Critter Club.

Now, I want to return your attention to Bayou Country, where we have gotten our first real look at Rey’s Berets!
Introducing Rey’s Berets
The newest addition to Bayou Country, Rey’s Berets, replaces the old Briar Pach store. As the name indicates, the shop is run by Ray and his colorful family of fireflies.

Early concept art for the store featuring fireflies glimmering in the foliage that adorns the new store’s roof.
In actuality, the shop looks suspiciously like the Briar Patch with sod installed on the roof.

Nevertheless, Ray’s Berets will be the ultimate place to get headwear, apparel, accessories, toys, and more. Disney has also promised that the shop’s interior will further immerse guests in Princess Tiana’s story!
Here is a closer look at the shop’s sign. I love the wood-carved design and vintage look.

Ray looks good, too!
When Will the Store Open?
Guests will finally be able to shop in the Princess and the Frog-themed store when Ray’s Berets opens alongside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the rest of Bayou Country on November 15.

I, for one, can’t wait!
