Jungle Cruise Has Officially Reopened at Magic Kingdom
After a nearly two-month refurbishment, Magic Kingdom’s Jungle Cruise finally reopened to guests today.
When Disney World initially announced the attraction’s closure, Jungle Cruise was expected to remain shuttered until October 18. At the time, Disney simply said, “Beginning August 26, 2024, Jungle Cruise will temporarily close for refurbishment. The attraction is scheduled to reopen for Guests before the winter holidays begin at Walt Disney World.”
Earlier this month, however, an update to the official Disney World calendar revealed that the attraction would open on October 16. Today is the big day!
Jungle Cruise Returns
After a delayed opening this morning, Jungle Cruise is once again taking guests on an expedition across the world’s great rivers.
As we expected, the attraction did not undergo major changes during the refurbishment. Instead, it looks like Disney used this time for some maintenance.
With Jingle Cruise set to return this holiday season, the timing of the Jungle Crusie refurbishment made sense!
As you can see, fans were excited about the attraction’s reopening.
Throughout the day today, the wait time for Jungle Cruise has bounced between 50 and 70 minutes, which is pretty normal for a Wednesday in October.
Jungle Cruise is expected to open with its annual holiday overlay dubbed as “Jingle Cruise” on November 2, 2024.
