Heavy Crowds and Long Wait Times Greet Guests at Magic Kingdom Today
With Magic Kingdom scheduled to host a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday night this week, guests flocked to the park today to take advantage of the extended hours.
As Magic Kingdom closes at 6 PM on party dates, today was the day for guests to get the most bang for their buck at the park.
By the looks of things, that is exactly what happened.
Long Wait Times at Magic Kingdom
Throughout the day today, we have seen Magic Kingdom bustling with activity and wait times.
If you don’t believe me, just open up the Walt Disney World app!
As of this writing, there is a 55-minute wait for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, a 15-minute wait to go to Tom Sawyer Island, and an 80-minute wait to ride the Haunted Mansion.
Even the Swiss Family Treehouse is posting a 5-minute wait!
Currently, the longest wait in the park is 150 minutes to ride TRON Lightcycle/Run, followed by the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 105 minutes.
The Wait For the Walt Disney World Railroad Is How Long?!
In the category of things you hate to see, the currently listed wait time for the Walt Disney World Railroad is 70 minutes.
I find that hard to believe, but the number is something to behold.
With just over two weeks to go until Halloween, the frequency of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties has ramped up. Because of this, it looks like Magic Kingdom will continue to be busy on non-party dates. As we reported, Jungle Cruise reopened today and by the looks of things, it was just in time!
