Cotino, a Storyliving By Disney Community Reaches Another Milestone
A new chapter in Disney history is unfolding in California’s Coachella Valley, where developers are busy bringing Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community to life.
For those who aren’t familiar, Cotino will be a master-planned community developed by Disney, crafted by the creative minds at Walt Disney Imagineering, and staffed by Disney Cast Members. In short, residents will experience Disney’s magic every day, right where they live!
“These master-planned communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests, and write the next exciting chapter in their lives. All while enjoying the attention to detail, unique amenities, and special touches that are Disney hallmarks,” Disney said when the project was announced.
The last time we checked in on Cotino’s development, the community had unveiled three model homes, giving fans a glimpse at what was to come.

Now, Storyliving by Disney has taken to Instagram to share that the community has reached a new milestone.
The Cotino Entry Gate Is Complete!
According to Storyliving by Disney, the Cotino community entry gate is officially complete.
The earth-toned sign now stands at the front of the community, surrounded by fence post cacti.

The gate leads to the midcentury-style gatehouse that welcomes guests to the community.
The Storyliving By Disney Community Will Open Next Year
When completed, Cotino will include 1,932 planned homes around a 24-acre lagoon. According to Disney, individuals from around the country have shown interest in the Storyliving by Disney community.
