BREAKING: Disney Introduces the NEW Lightning Lane Premier Pass
The Disney Lightning Lane system is set to expand in an exciting way later this month with the introduction of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
The newest level of Lightning Lane Pass will give guests a one-time entry to every Lightning Lane-eligible attraction at the park they visit. This includes attractions in both the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass categories.

As an additional perk, however, guests with a Lightning Pane Premier Pass will not need to select a time to join each attraction’s Lightning Lane. Instead, they can just show up and ride.
When the Premier Pass Will Be Available
The new Lightning Lane Premier Pass will launch at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in late October.

At Disneyland Resort, the Premier Pass will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning two days before a theme park reservation. Unlike the Disney World version of the Premier Pass, Disneyland guests will be able to join the Lightning Lanes at BOTH parks with their Premier Pass.
The new Lightning Lane option will be available to Disneyland Resort guests beginning on October 23.
Disneyland Park
Walt Disney World, meanwhile, is set to roll out the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass on October 30.
The pass will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villas Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days before the guests’ check-in date. As previously noted, the pass will only be valid for use at one of Disney World’s parks per day.

As with the other Lightning Lane passes, the price of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will vary based on the date.
At Disneyland, the pass will sell for between $300 and $400.
EPCOT – Spaceship Earth
Walt Disney World’s version of the pass, which only includes one park per day, will run between $129 and $449 per guest. Here’s a pricing breakdown for Lightning Lane Premier Passes per person, per day thanks to USA Today:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $129-$199 plus tax
- EPCOT: $169-$249 plus tax
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $269-$349 plus tax
- Magic Kingdom: $329-$449 plus tax
