New Attraction Clock and Character Portraits Debut at Country Bear Musical Jamboree
Just months after Country Bear Musical Jamboree opened, the down-home revue has undergone a small refurbishment.
Guests arriving at Grizzly Hall will likely notice that a new clock now adorns the outside of the building, letting them know how long it is until the next show.
The pendulum underneath the clock reads “GH,” a fun nod to the name of the iconic Country Bear building!
New Country Bear Portraits
After singing along with Henry, Trixie, Big Al, and the rest of the Country Bears, guests can also find new portraits of the cast in the theater’s exit hallway.
These portraits were designed by legendary Imagineer Marc Davis during the development of the Country Bear Jamboree. Once upon a time, Disney had not settled on what kind of music the bears would play and tinkered with other ideas.
The new exit hallway portraits feature unused Davis concept art for a one-bear band and a marching band act.
Here is a closer look at the marching band. This was an early concept for the Five Bear Rugs.

Davis was a genius when it came to designing characters whose personalities instantly shined through.
The Portraits Are Only Found in One Hallway
Currently, the new Country Bear portraits are only hung in the theater’s exit hallway closest to the stage.
So, if you want to see them for yourself, choose your exit accordingly!
After entertaining guests at Magic Kingdom for over 53 years, it’s great to see the Country Bears continue to get the recognition and love they deserve!
