An All-New Beatles Documentary Is Coming to Disney+ This Fall
As Disney+ has continued to expand its offerings and carve out its place in the media landscape, the streaming service has found success with concert films and music documentaries.
Perhaps the biggest music-related release on Disney’s flagship streamer was Peter Jackson’s Get Back, which gave Beatles fans an unprecedented glimpse into the band’s inner workings and eventual dissolution.

Following the success of similar documentaries, including The Beach Boys, Folklore: The Long Pond Sessions, and Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, Disney is giving fans more Beatles content with the upcoming Beatles ’64.
The Moment Beatlemania Came to America
The new documentary from director David Tedeschi and producer Martin Scorsese will tell the electrifying story of The Beatles’ first visit to America.

Featuring never-before-seen footage, the film captures The Beatles at the height of their popularity as Beatlemania officially came to the United States.
While including iconic moments such as The Beatles’ arrival in New York and their performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, Beatles ’64 also gives fans an intimate look at the friendship and camaraderie between John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

In addition to archival footage filmed by Albert and David Maysles, Beatles ’64 will include newly filmed interviews with Paul and Ringo.
When Wil the Documentary Stream?
Besides Scorsese, Margaret Bodde, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison, Sean Ono Lennon, Jonathan Clyde, and Mikaela Beardsley are also credited as producers for Beatles ’64. Jeff Jones and Rick Yorn serve as executive producers.
