Disney World Instructs Guests to Continue Sheltering Indoors Following Hurricane Milton
While Hurricane Milton has now moved past Florida and into the Atlantic Ocean, Walt Disney World is instructing guests to continue to shelter inside.
In the aftermath of Milton, Central Florida still faces strong wind gusts, reaching up to 80 mph. Like millions of Floridians, Disney World is currently taking stock of the damage caused by the hurricane and deciding how to move forward.
A new post on Walt Disney World’s website instructs guests to continue staying inside for the time being.
“Walt Disney World and Vero Beach Resort Hotel Guests: Please continue to shelter inside while we assess the storm’s impact. We’ll let you know when it is safe to be outdoors,” the message reads.
