Disney Shares Poster For the Stage Version of ‘Frozen’ Coming to Disney+ Next Year
Last August’s D23: The Ultimate Fan event proved to be an exceptionally exciting one for Frozen fans.
The big news coming out of Disney’s flagship event was that Frozen 3 and Frozen 4 were both officially in production. While Disney kept the plot of the upcoming films under wraps, it did give fans a sneak peek at what was to come.
The other big Frozen announcement, however, was that the stage version of the film was coming to Disney+. To celebrate the occasion, Samantha Barks, who was then starring as Elsa in Disney’s Frozen in London’s West End, took the stage and performed a spellbinding rendition of “Let it Go.”

While Disney did not announce which performance of the Frozen production will stream on Disney+, Barks will star as Elsa. Her casting would seem to indicate that the production was filmed at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.
When Will the Broadway Version of Version of ‘Frozen’ Premiere?
With Frozen no longer running on Broadway following the COVID-19 pandemic and the show’s West End run coming to an end on September 8, the Disney+ presentation of the show will be a great way to preserve the magic of the show and perhaps create a new generation of fans.
At this time, it is unclear when the stage production of Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical will arrive on Disney+, though it will premiere next year.
Disney Shares a ‘Frozen Poster’
Ahead of the show’s release, Disney has shared an enchanted poster for the production featuring Barks as Elsa front and center.

Hopefully, we will soon learn when Disney will “let it go” and add the stage version of Frozen to Disney+.
