BREAKING: Disney World’s Theme Parks & Disney Springs Will Reopen Tomorrow
In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, Walt Disney World has announced that its four theme parks and Disney Springs will, in fact, reopen on Friday, October 11.
Disney closed its parks early yesterday in anticipation of Milton’s arrival and subsequently kept them closed through today. When the closures were announced, Disney did not state when the parks would reopen.

While guests had hoped that the parks would be able to reopen Friday, everything remained in flux.
The Parks Will Reopen Tomorrow
The latest update on the Walt Disney World website, however, has confirmed that the parks, Disney Springs, and potentially other areas of the resort will reopen tomorrow.
“We’re grateful Walt Disney World Resort weathered the storm, and we are currently assessing the impacts to our property to prepare for reopening the theme parks, Disney Springs and possibly other areas on Friday, October 11. Our hearts are with our fellow Floridians who were impacted by this storm,” Disney’s latest update reads.

Earlier this morning, Disney asked hotel guests to shelter indoors while they assessed the damage caused by Milton.

Hours later, the shelter-in-place advisory was lifted, though Disney confirmed that the parks would remain closed throughout the day.
The Amount of Damage to Disney World Remains Unclear
While we still do not know what damage the resort suffered, if any, we at least have confirmation that the parks will reopen tomorrow.
