Disney World to Remain Closed Tomorrow Due to Hurricane Milton
Hurricane Milton is currently impacting Florida, including the Orlando area and Disney World. The Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs are now closed as the Category 4 storm makes its way through the Sunshine State.
And, we’ve got an update on how the storm continues to cause closures at Disney World.
Disney World Parks Closed Further for Hurricane
Disney World is officially closing on Thursday, October 10th due to Hurricane Milton.
Disney posted online “On Thursday, October 10, our theme parks and Disney Springs will remain closed, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be cancelled (event tickets will be refunded).”
Disney also said that ticket expiration dates for partially used multi-day tickets will be adjusted to expire on October 11th, 2025. So, you have a full year to use the rest of your tickets.

There is also currently a Tornado Watch in Orange County, including Disney World, due to the Hurricane. Read more about that right here.
As for other closures at Disney World, right now all four of the Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, both water parks, the mini golf courses, and the Disney Springs parking garages are closed.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are also closed and Disney says they are likely to remain closed until Sunday, October 13th.
Disney transportation has stopped operating now that the theme parks are closed and Minnie Van service will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 4PM today. Limited Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.
Cancelation policies for things like dining and other experiences are not being enforced until further notice. Prepaid bookable experiences will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 business days.
