Today is the LAST DAY for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Some big changes are coming to Disney World in the next few years! We recently found out more details about the Tropical Americas transformation in Animal Kingdom, a Villains land is expected to come to Magic Kingdom, and a Monsters, Inc. land is coming to Hollywood Studios.

Unfortunately, with all of these new things, that means some old things have to leave us for good. And today is the last day you can experience a certain Hollywood Studios attraction!
Last Day for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy
Today is the very last day you can experience Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy over on Sunset Boulevard. The show will close down starting tomorrow to make way for a new Disney Villains show.
The new Villains stage show will be a live production that debuts in the summer of 2025.

Sunset Showcase will be transformed into the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. The show will have dozens of villains, like Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent, who each break through the glass to take the stage!

So, if you want to see Lightning McQueen and friends for one last time, head on over to Hollywood Studios today! The attraction is open until 8PM.
